Simone Bianco’s lab (IBM) has developed a mathematical model for predicting the effect of removing non-pharmaceutical interventions (i.e. social distancing) on the spread of COVID-19 as a function of testing rates.
The article explains that, given asymptomatic transmission, a resurgence of the epidemic is likely if the non-pharmaceutical interventions are removed too soon.
